From spin to Pilates, Body attack to balance, I did them ALL.
We’re talking 30 classes a week, 7 days a week, commuting from gym to gym whilst learning choreography and making routines… but something wasn’t QUITE right.
Despite the latest releases, my passion for the classes and my motivation… members weren’t changing shape… they were getting fitter but only in the realm of the class they were doing- it wasn’t translating to real life…
I HATED the thought of the gym, hated even lifting weights… but slowly and gradually I started to learn, to read more and more and realise that I wanted more for my clients, wanted to serve them in a more personalised and thought out way.
Now, as a personal trainer, I believe that personal training offers several unique advantages compared to a gym membership or group classes.

Accountability: As a personal trainer, I provide a level of accountability that can be lacking when working out independently. Knowing that someone is expecting you for a session makes it more likely that you’ll stick to your fitness routine.
Motivation and Support: I’m here not just to guide you through exercises; but to provide motivation and emotional support. I help you overcome mental hurdles, push through plateaus, and most importantly celebrate your achievements, creating a positive and encouraging environment.
Education: Proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness is absolutely imperative. This knowledge empowers my clients to make informed choices about their health and fitness even outside of training sessions.
Efficiency: Your personal training sessions are designed to be efficient, maximising the benefits of each workout. This can be especially valuable for individuals with busy schedules, balancing work and childcare and usually a dog scrambled in the middle!

Prevention of Injuries: Something I am most passionate about is the emphasising of proper form and technique to reduce the risk of injury during workouts. I also modify exercises based on any existing injuries or limitations, ensuring a safe and effective training experience whilst researching anything that I am unsure of. Your health matters
